These are the results of a study by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in collaboration with the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology (MeteoSwiss). The study, published yesterday on 31 March 2021 in the peer-reviewed journal Science of the Total Environment, is the most comprehensive investigation into pollen due to climate change done so far in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>Pollen from trees, grasses and weeds are causing seasonal allergies for approximately one fifth of the Swiss population every year.
