In partnership with \u201csustainable manufacturers\u201d, Bags of Ethics, the campaign will see reusable face coverings sold for \u00a315 each, with the aim of raising \u00a31 million for charity. The campaign, called: \u2018Great British Designer Face Coverings: Reusable, for People and Planet\u2019 will aim to manufacture the face coverings internationally, for people to use alongside social distancing measures.<\/p>\n<p>Manufactured at Bags of Ethics, the non-medical face coverings \u201coffer a reusable and sustainable option for the environment with no single-use plastic\u201d. The face-covering will be available online through britishfashioncouncil.com and partner retailers such as ASOS, Boots, John Lewis and Sainsbury\u2019s. It follows the government\u2019s announcement that face masks are to become mandatory on public transport, where social distancing measures aren\u2019t possible.<\/p>\n<p>Caroline Rush, chief executive at BFC, said: \u201cOur ambition is to contribute to the fight against COVID-19, while protecting vital PPE supplies reserved for the NHS.
